Non-accessible content

We are in the process of improving the following elements of the website. The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reason(s): No access to source code.

non-compliance with the national legislation:

Issue Explanation Why this is important
Aria-label ARIA stands for Accessible Rich Internet Application. The aria-label forms part of the HTML code in order to clearly communicate the roles, states, and properties of user interface elements. This provides an extra piece of information to assistive technologies such as screen readers.
Non-distinguishable landmarks A web page is made up of different elements such as a header, footer, main, sidebar. These containers are referred to as landmarks.

Landmarks provide the organisation and structure of a web page.

Landmarks makes it easier for the user to navigate between different sections of the web page using keyboard navigation.
Content not included in landmarks When web content is not confined to a particular element on the page, it is not included in a landmark. To ensure the content is not missed by the user
No option to skip repeated content Skiplinks is a mechanism available to bypass blocks of content that are repeated on multiple web pages. The end user can easily skip repeated content
Tabbing navigation sequence Tabbing navigation sequence is required to be in a logical sequence so that users can navigate between different elements from start to end of the web page using their keyboard. Logical tabbing is very important to assist users to navigate on the page
